Virgil Abloh has joined forces with Japanese streetwear legend NIGO to release a collaborative capsule collection called LV², marking Virgil's first collaboration at Louis Vuitton since joining in 2018 as the Men's Artistic Director. The Louis Vuitton NIGO collaboration launched worldwide in June 2020. Staying true to the Maison's codes, the two designers have fused their approach to fashion in an assortment of pieces across bags, accessories, apparel, and footwear. The Louis Vuitton Campus Backpack gets a refresh with the Giant Damier Ebene canvas, topped with a version of Nigo's symbolic dripping ice cream motif in the classic Monogram coated canvas. This Louis Vuitton Backpack features textile lining with inside duo pocket and flat pocket, natural cowhide leather trim, black hardware, and zip opening. The shoulder straps are adjustable, and the outside zip compartment allows for even more storage. The Louis Vuitton NIGO Campus Backpack, Giant Damier Ebene retailed for $2,730 at the time of release; it measures 11.81 in x 15.35 in x 5.12 in, and the Louis Vuitton Style Number is N40380.
